I have an old old copy of Dreamweaver. It's website manager has recently
been acting flakey, so I'm looking for a replacement. By website manager
I mean something that uploads files from disk to my host via ftp.

I tried SyncBack, which allegedly has an ftp synchroniser, but I
couldn't get it to work. I also tried Filezilla, which works, but it's
really more suited for individual files than whole sites.

I've had a scout around, including Snapfiles, Pricelessware and John
Hood's site, but haven't really come across anything that I thought was
suitable. Any suggestions?

Hi Mark,

A few options:

Auto Ftp

ScriptFTP
http://www.scriptftp.com/

EMFTP (haven't tried this one, but has a "Synchronize Upload" feature)
http://www.emftp.com

TreeComp

FTPSync (now shareware)

Last freeware version of FTPSync available here:

Hi Mark, sorry to hear you had problems using SyncBack and FTP. We've
just released V3.2.6 which fixed a number of FTP issues. Could you tell
me what problems you had?

Thanks
