Clear DayIn favourites of IE6 I used to have displayed the logo of a company
website as an icon. Now all I get is either the blue 'E' of explorer or I
can change to the broken image file icon. Do I need to change my settings to
get these website icons back??

Thanks

Tony ... you may need to delete your Favorite site and add it again.

These icons are called favicons and are cached in Temporary Internet Files.
When you empty your cache folder, the icon reverts to the blue IE. You can,
however, copy your favorite favicons to a new folder and then go to your
desired 'Favorite' site, select 'Properties', 'Change Icon' and point to the
saved icon.

You're welcome, and good luck ... oh, btw, there's a program available
called 'favorg' that will scan your Favorites, find those sites that have
favicons, store them in a separate folder, and change all the available
icons in your Favorites folder.

It's available from 'Kellys-Korner', the site of that very helpful lady,
Kelly Theriot, at:
