website link problems

Using W2k and Outlook xp...when a coworker clicks on a
website link within an email, the 'my documents' folder
comes up, then a blank web page comes up to search for the
site, but it's never found.
I'd love ideas on how to fix this-besides pasting every
link into Internet Explorer...
thanks in advance...

When the My Documents folder comes up it looks for a specific exe-file (link
browser). Direct it to IEXPLORE.EXE and click OK. From now link should open
correctly.

Roady,
Can you tell me specifically how to do that? It's not
happening on my PC and I'll have to explain the solution
either over the phone or by email.
thanks!

Of course, but basically I did already.
When the user clciks on a link, instead of getting the link in an Explorer
window the My Documents folder pops-up requesting to open an exe-file. I
believe the window is called Locate Link Browser then. The exe-file you must
open is IEXPLORE.EXE which you can find here (default);
C:\Program Files\Internet Explorer
Once you open IEXPLORE.EXE the link should open. If it doesn't open the
first time click again. The user will notice that he/she doesn't get
prompted anymore with the My Documents folder.
