I'm having an issue with a site I try to go to. I'm using winxp home/moz
firefox . I have an app that will restore my last session if my system
crashes. everytime I go to this one site(WKBW news channel in Buffalo,NY)
my system crashes, the browser turns off and I go right to my Desktop. Is
this a Dll issue or is there something I can check on to correct this?

thanks

How about giving us the URL so we can try it out?

Clear the cache in case there's a damaged document. Click Tools,
Options, Privacy, Cache, "Clear Cache Now".

its just wkbw.com

The site uses Java, jscript, and maybe flash. Try this.

Click Start, Run and type these two lines. Press Enter, or click OK
after each one:

regsvr32 vbscript.dll
regsvr32 jscript.dll

I've come to discover that this a Google issue. i tried it using Yahoo as
my main search engine and it worked fine
Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm!!!!!!!! What gives?

Yahoo may not use the component that's damaged. Look in Internet
Options, General tab, Settings button, View Objects button, and see if
any activex component is damaged. If so, right-click it, click Update
or Remove. If you remove it, it should be reinstalled as you require it.

The OP could have had PrefBar(*) extension installed as an extension to
control whether Java Script is active or not. Many users don't like Java
Script because of various reasons.

(*) I use V 3.4.4 from http://tinyurl.com/2w2nwd with Google FF 2.0
