When I run a sweep with spysweeper it says I have 200-214 cookies. After I
delete cookies it will go down to about 200. Where are these cookies located?
It hasn't always been like this, just recently.

It's not unusual to have several hundred cookies on your system. Windows
Defender doesn't check for cookies. Other Anti-spyware check for cookies;
however, each product seems to target some cookies as high risk and the rest
as low to medium. Traditionally, there has been a lot of hype about the
danger of cookies. In my opinion, the threat is over-rated. Use Windows
Explorer and look at the Cookies folder under \Documents and
Settings\yourlogonid\. Under Internet Explorer, click Tools, click Internet
Options, click the Privacy tab (on the top row), click Advanced. I set
First-party Cookies to Accept and Third Party cookies to block. Third Party
cookies could come from advertisements on your web pages.
