webcam

i have got windows messenger and it wont work with my
webcam. i use msn messenger as well and it works fine on
that but not on windows messenger anybody got any tips on
how i can solve this problem

Do you mean the webcam won't work in the Audio (and Video) Tuning Wizard (open up the main
Messenger window, click the Tools menu, then Audio Tuning Wizard to get to this) or simply
won't connect?

If the later, MSN Messenger allows the Webcam to be sent through relay servers, therefore not
requiring a direct connection. Windows Messenger however, does require a direct connection,
so if you or your contact is using any type of third-party firewall or a router/internet
sharing solution which doesn't support Universal Plug and Play (UPnP), the video
functionality in Windows Messenger will not work.
