Hi all

Please can someone help me with a problem that has been bugging me for a few days.The thing is that in the morning i can view my friends webcam with no problem at all at but when it comes to evening time then it will not connect and she has no connectivity and it does not advise her that she is broadcasting.
So any help is appreciated not sure if its bandwidth or the ping time but we are both stumped!
That we are running on pipex may have something to do with it and fup may come into.

Is time the only variable that seems to have an effect on if the webcam works? Also, what are you using to view the webcam - MSN Messenger?

When you say she has no connectivity do you mean she isn't actually connected to the internet?
 
the webcam works fine till approx 6pm at night then it will say connecting but will not broadcast this happens with both the msn and the yahoo programmes. Otherwise it works fine during the day
 
It seems so strange that is is time dependant, so the only thing I can think of is that your ISP has some filtering in place after certain times. I don't see why this would effect webcams, but it is the only thing I can think of.

Can either of you use webcams with people on other people after 6?
