WebCam Not workingg....help please?

Ok im using Msn 6.2....i have a digital camera..it works fine with
takes pics and i can transfer it to the computer...but when i set it
up to PC mode it wont work as a cam...it works for my friends..but on
my computer it just wont work...and my computer is pretty damn
good....so any1 help me out here? Thanks...I’d appreciate it
 
on your PC, does it work as a cam with any other programs ? i.e. does
it work as a cam with Net Meeting ? does it work as a cam with the
software that came with it ?
