WebCam Creative and Messenger 6.1

A common problem as I've seen...
The Cam doesn't work, when I execute the wizard it is
well recognized and all the procedures go well, but when
I open the Cam settings under the Messenger Menu Settings
the programs says that Cam is not plugged-in or a program
is using it (not true).
The cam obviously works perfectly with all the other
(also the Microsoft one) video application.
It seems like the Messenger doesn't save the A/V
preferences given through the wizard...
Is it possible to set some registry key to do it?

I have the same problem with my creative webcam, when
using MSN Messenger 6.1. I haven't done anything
but I now have videoconferencing available, through the
action menu.
I suggest you try the same.
However, the webcam tool isn't working.
Let me know when and if you get the solution :-)
