With a small browser war going on between the IE-based browsers and the
Gecko-based browsers I'm curious about the browsers for the Windows OS's
that aren't based on either of them.
So far I found these:

Off By One:

ACT 10:
http://jansfreeware.com/

404Browser
http://www.ltpb.8m.com/404Browser/

Links:

Lynx:

Does anyoneknow if there are more of them around ?

Hi Rod,

There are a few more on the acf program pages that may be candidates for
your list.

FWIW - links to a couple of browser information sites. BrowerWatch is
gone but the Wayback Machine has it archived.

You probably slready know about evolt: http://browsers.evolt.org/

ISTM an interesting search question/problem is how to omit browser
*shells* from Google search results - I can't think of any easy way to
accomplish that. . .

Knew about it, forgot about it, just found it a minute before reading your
post :)

I tried and I failed.

You know me better than I thought you did.

I thought that search was impossible and I've long suspected you aren't
Superman in disguise. Nice to have that confirmed. ;)

You could try "browser -shell", assuming of course that the particular
shell browser is referred to as such. You would probably still get the
results from other sites referring to such shell browsers just as a browser
or browser replacement.

Anything that you prefix with a "-" will set a NOT modifier.
