I have a web site that has a flash menu system (swf file)

When I update the menu system it works fine in local tests. And I replace
appropiate files by ftp on the web site.

When I view the site on line the old menu system still loads, even if I do a
refresh and hold the contol and refresh together. Not only that even when I
empty the Temporary Internet files folder does the wrong menu system
continue to load.

Sometimes after a few days the correct menu system will eventually come into
Internet explorer. but there has to be a better way of doing this, to know a
little more instantly.

Best wishes

If CTRL+F5 does not work in forcing a refresh, and your site uses cookies,
see this article for possible help:

Unable to Refresh Web Page That Uses Cookies if Set to Prompt for Cookies

If that is not the case, then your TIF may be stuffed. See this site for
how to totally nuke it and have it rebuilt:

If still no joy, CacheSentry may help:
