Web stats changed on UNIX platform

We recently moved our website with subsites from a Windows to a UNIX
paltform. Now the AWSTATS program does not identify the pages with their
appropriate folder name. This doesn't matter for most of the pages in the
report, but there are multiple "index.htm" files in different folders. These
are being lumped all together with the root files in the report. It defeats
the purpose of creating different pages to track response rates. Network
Solutions says 'sorry that is the way it is-Unix report is different from
Windows report'. Any suggestions? Thank You in advance.

They're right. Unix file names and log formats are different and will
produce slightly different results even with the same settings in the stats
tool. Most tools will let you look for folder names. Perhaps you need to
spend more time learning how to use the tool to get that differentiation.

Perhaps you need to have some knowledge before talking out of your
a$$.

To the OP: Are you indicating a problem with the "Pages-URL (Top 25)"
list showing the directory name? The path should be in there in front
of the file name. If it's something else, identify specifically where
you are not seeing the path (directory) name.

If not, check the version of AWstats being used (bottom of stat page)
and post it here.

I am sorry. I had posted a comment later that day saying the issue was
resolved and apparently it did not post. I apologize for wasting your time.

No problem. Glad it worked out.
