web sites not recognizing correct version

when visiting sites I get the following

what the heck is that? i can't use a lot of features because they require
ie 4 + which is not recognized

how do I fix my version to show its obvious v6 - ness

this section "Method 4: Modify the registry"

Take a look at that registry key.
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Internet
Settings\User Agent\Post Platform]
Is http://www.businessforbusypeople.com/ a value (in the right pane?)

Is that name familiar? Did you download and/or install a program from them?
