First thing, reset the TCP/IP configuration (create a restore point before
doing this)

Click Start | Run | CMD
type "netsh int ip reset c:\tcp_changes.log"

I can connect to the internet but can't connect to any
sites. What do I need to change?
 
Sounds like you may be accidentally blocking IE in your firewall. Or you
may be using a proxy and it is misconfigured.
