Sorry if this has recently been asked, but I'm new to this group ...

I once found a site that gave jumper settings for very many disk drives
- both current and old. I've tried a Google search but every site that
looks right is "not found".

Can anyone point me in the right direction?

TIA.

if you just go to the mfg's website
they may have the jumper settings...even on their older drive

otherwise try a google search simply putting in the model # of the
harddrive..

most of the time you should be able to get the info you are looking
for
