Web Site suggestions offering a good lesson into the topic of RecordsetClone?

Goggle unfortunately finds a ton of stuff on "RecordsetClone," but I would
like a good, definitive article on the topic, yet with a tone of
"RecordsetClone for Dummies"

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated

Cheryl, thanks

I guess the core thing that keeps eluding me is this: what's the point of
the Recordsetclone. What's the logic behind having to go through a clone of
the recordset. Isn't even the recordset a clone of the tbl(s). Changes are
going into the tbl(s) composing the recordset (aka the qry).

Thank you

For example, you may have set selection criteria to control which records
appear in your form. Using the form's recordsetclone property allows you to
perform operations on *that* recordset rather than having to write some VBA
to create a recordset and apply the form's selection criteria to that
recordset.
