When attempting to go to msn.com or yahoo.com, I get spoofed to a website that says "Detected spyware! System error #384....". I believe I am virus free, have run adaware, and I am current on updates. Any suggestions or articles on how to correct this situation?

thanks,

Matt

Try this:

IE Options>Security tab>custom>Navigate sub-frames across different domains
(set to prompt or disable)> OK>Yes>OK out.

Thanks for the info.

I ended up trying a second anti-virus program (symantec) and it found the trojan.ecure.b virus which interupts IE. I am now attempting to remove it.

Matt -

And your first AV program which didn't detect this trojan.ecure.b virus is
which AV product? It would have been nice if another one aside from NAV,
which is a *huge* AV utility, had detected it. Please let us know of your
results.
