I have recently learned that creating and publishing a website is the easy
part. Knowing how to secure and protect your information is the real
challenge. I am using FP 2003 with tables and a Access database. I have a
form on the site where information is collected and stored to what I thought
was one file on my domain host. I began to notice that my files in _htdocs
began to grow, including files I did not create or publish. I then found
that my website has been copied and republished by more than one hacker.
With countless hours of research I have found that there are thousands of
pages that teach a person how to hack a FP website, but very few that
describe how to detect or prevent it. Can anyone help or give advice on how
to detect and prevent this? As a pay per click customer I can assure you
that the major search engine companies do not seem motivated about prevening
this. Thank You and May God Bless You...RH Christian Debt Consultants
