Five days ago eBay quit loading in what I call a timely
manner. Nothing has changed on my compter running Win ME
except that I have downloaded some crucial MS patches for
ME and I ran SpyBot utility to find out why my Hotmail
account was moving so slowly...I need to refresh in order
to back out of each piece of mail I read. I have since
removed SpyBot and checked for Hijakers using CWShredder.
So far everything looks clean and other web pages cruise
along (I'm on DSL). eBay is so slow now that bidding is a
pain. I have been to eBay's community tech chat board and
followed the suggestions of others. Still nothing moves.
Anyone out there have a similar experence on eBay lately?

From various sources on this group. Read all then act.

Might be your ISP service.

If you have 128 MB or less its going run slow ...XP likes
more memory.

Slow response can simply mean the servers are overloaded
or there's a lot of
traffic. Given the recent virus activity which has
triggered a lot of
automated messages being sent to various servers, it is
possible that this
is the issue and not much you can do on your end.
