Our web site will be in alignment on some computers and way out on others.
Caption not under the pictures and large spaces between words. On my computer
all pages look fine. Any suggestions. Someone suggested using frames but I
can't figure that out either.
Any help would be greatly apprieciated.

Don't use frames! They won't solve the situation - they cause more problems
than they solve. Can we see alink of the page please?

Also - have you used tables or layers/absolute positioning?

It is best to use tables.

Don't use the space bar to position elements on the page.

I am having the same problem. I created a website to use in my classroom and
published it to the server. My website looks fine if you are using an IBM
computer, but when I try to view the website from school (we have Macintosh
computers), everything is scrambled and out of alignment and I don't know
why. I have tried different authoring options and am experimenting to see if
I can work out the difficulties. My website is members.cox.net/bcandrews.
If anyone has a Mac system that would like to try it and could offer advice
on how to fix this problem, I'd greatly appreciate it. There are pages that
are not yet complete as I don't have the info to complete the pages yet, I
just wanted to publish it to find out if it works. I purchased the Front
Page 2003 program and have a Windows XP operating system.

Make sure you have not used any VML Graphics (text boxes, shapes, etc.), the drawing toolbar, these
items are only viewable to user under IE running on Windows.

You will need to remove all VML Graphics!

I guess this solves my problem. How do you add text and pictures without
using the VML graphic options?

You import your images, then you insert them on your page. If you want to add text, either place the
text under the image or add the text in your image editor prior to importing into your FP web.
