My web site was created with FP2000. People using
Compuserve as their internet provider cannot get to the
web site. It begins to load, but then locks up the
browser. This doesn't happen to others, as we have a
healthy number of visits to the site each week! Have any
idea what could be causing this? (My host is godaddy.com
and frontpage extensions are installed.) Thanks!

URL ?

If the URL is http://www.arfok.org I get at least 6 JAVA alerts before the page opens, but there are no JAVA applets in the page so
you may want to check w/ your server to see if they are running some sort of JAVA applet in the background (or have been hacked)
- JAVA may be crashing your users

PS
All Web browsers don't support .bmp images so convert your images to .jpg or .gif
(as in images/whtpaws.bmp)

It's the buttons that are the problem. The "hover" buttons that come with
FP are old java, and do not work on most modern browsers. (Well they do, if
you know how to do it, most people don't however...)

You should look into replacing the hover buttons with regular images, or
javascript mouseover images (if you still want them to do something when the
mouse hovers).

I see no malicious activity, so the errors are unrelated to any rooting or
hack.
