Hey guys, i was wondering i have a web-server setup on
windowsxp pro, but the thing is that im sick and tired of
typing in my ip number each time I want to access my
site, is there a way where I can tell my web-server to
setup the ip for a name instead like www.mysite.com
instead of 202.168.xxx.xxx???

If you are on broadband or dial-up you could try a service like dyndns.org,
dns2go.com, no-ip.com.

If you have a dedicated static IP Address and a computer that is on 24/7
you could run your own DNS server, or you could find a hosting or
registration service such as networksolutions.net to perform DNS for you.
