I would like to know how to instal a web server on
windows xp home.
If it's not possible, how can I do to run my asp.net
applications locally?

Microsoft IIS web server is not available, nor will run (as I
understand) even if you can get a copy, for Windows XP Home.

You can use the Apache Web Server (www.apache.org) with Windows XP Home.
Apache is widely used. Free.
 
This web server handles only local machine requests --
it does not allow remote machine connections.
