Anybody know of a good freeware program that's comparable to Macromedia's
Contribute or Dreamweaver?

Hi,

there are a few different direction you could look into: one is into
"blogware", which is essentially what Contribute is; the other is into
a web eidtor, with wysiwyg properties.

For the first one, I really like "Thingamablog":

For the second, there is a simple solution in :WYSIWYG Web Builder":

There is also something, which if you have MS Office installed (*OT
suggestion*)is "Visual Script Editor"--it has a wysiwyg interface.(one
of the better MS apps)
