Powerpoint 2002 on XP home. When I publish my presentation to the web, all
my clip art shows up as boxes with a small red x instead of the picture. The
web presentation also bombs out if I try and advance the slide show, and
comes up with one of those Microsoft messages that says this is a fatal
error and the program will close down.
When I run the presentation on my computer I get all the clip art OK. What's
wrong?

Thanks, Alan

Did you upload all the files that PowerPoint created when you published to your
web site?

Yes All files are uploaded. Is there something about the type of images
allowed in PowerPoint?

Alan

Nope. You didn't by chance link you images instead of inserting them into your
presentation?

Hi,

In addition to Michael's suggestion, could you post a link to your site
where you published? There are ways of interrogating published html to see
where it went wrong ;-)

Thanks. I think I've found the problem with your help. The clip art was from
an on-line site, and the images in PP are embedded. When I convert them to
GIF or PNG etc they work OK on the web.

Thanks, Alan
