Hi,
On my laptop, which is running Windows XP SP1, I am using a dial up
connection for AOL Internet service. When AOL tries to connect, I get an
error simply stating there was an error and could not connect. However, if I
use another service to connect to the Internet I am able to make a
connection. The thing is, I get the message, server not found, when trying to
access any web page. I figure the same thing is happening with AOL but since
it can't load it gives me the above mentioned error. The laptop has been
checked for spyware and virus'. There is no firewall on the system either.
Anyone have any idea why no web pages are accessible even though I can
connect?
Thanks,
SteveL
