Iam using xp home and for the first time a pagw won't open, an "x"is seen in
the top left corner but nothing else. I have tried different ways and still
nothing, I have shut off filters, pop blockers and changed some settings. The
best I can get is the "x"was replaced with a "HTML" in top left corner. I
have called a couple people and they tried the same site on their computer,
and it opens fine. I am pretty sure it is a setting but I don't know what to
look for.

Look in %windir%/system32/drivers/etc folder for a HOSTS file (no extension)
Open HOSTS in Notepad, and look for that page address as an entry without a
pound sign leading

#

127.0.0.1 localhost
