Why don't web pages fill the screen of my new Dell Inspiron 6000 notebook
computer? The Internet Explorer screens do, just not others like Google,
Comcast home page, etc. Running XP Media Center, IE 6.

What resolution is your desktop set to? On 1024x768 here, the ComCast site
has white areas at each side as they've fixed their site at 800 pixels wide.
It's a design issue with the site, not a problem your PC, you just have to
live with it or reduce your screen resolution to something like 800x600 (and
then you'll find sites written with 1024x768 or larger in mind don't look
right any more).
