When web page opens advertisments are blank, red "X"
or "cannot upen site. Any ideas? Thanks

Terry

My guess would be a pop-up blocker or firewall like Zone
Alarm blocking you from seeing adverts or clicking on
their links.

I believe it has something to do with the HOSTS file. May have blocked some ad servers.

Thanks. Tried all setting changes, still no help. Areas
where ads should be is the "the page cannot be displayed"
tag, also many pages gone to from links have same
results. Running XP home. Another computer on same line
works fine. All settings are the same.
