Hello,

I have a problem with my margins in FrontPage 2003. Here is what the problem
is..I know FrontPage measures margins in pixels but I only know the inches
measurement i want for the webpage's margins which ".2" all the way around.
So, how do I change the margins in the pixel fomat so i can get the ".2"
margins all the way around, on the printout? please respond asap...

Thanks,

Josh

Josh,

I did a search and came up with this one
http://www.zwahlendesign.ch/en/node/95http://www.zwahlendesign.ch/en/node/95

It doesn't mention cm. or in. Of course, in. or cm. depends on the ppi
(pixels per inch) or dpi (dots per inch), the screen size in in. or cm. and
the resolution in pixels.

There may be other references which deal with this. A search for 'point
pixel in cm' gives some interesting reading.
Here's one http://hsivonen.iki.fi/units/

Another reference (http://www.faqts.com/knowledge_base/view.phtml/aid/2390)
gives this list
Relative length units
px Pixels.
em The height of the element's font.
ex The height of the letter "x".
% Percentage.

Absolute length units
pt Points (1 point = 1/72 inches).
pc Picas (1 pica = 12 points).
in Inches (1 inch = 2.54 centimeters).
cm Centimeters.
mm Millimeters.

Interestingly, the same reference states
Font-sizes, line-heights, and units that need to render in a fixed size
are better specified as absolute lengths (points).

But I use px throughout for font sizes. I wonder am I wrong? (clintonG or
other experts, please feel free to express an opinion)
