Web page is on my desktop -- remove

I accidently synchronize a web page to be on my desktop. I went to
synchronization in the browser and turned off the page. I have rebooted and
the web page is still on my desktop.

How can I remove the web page from my desktop?

Control panel, Display properties, Customize Desktop (Button), Web (Tab)

You can remove web items from here.
