Can anyone in the NZ recommend a Website developer freeware package,
to help with a small personal website. I have considered
http://www.hexagora.com/en_home.asp or
http://www.arachnoid.com/arachnophilia/.

I have some basic knowledge of HTML.

Although I'm not in NZ, I personally prefer to use either Notepad or my own
custom built editor.

In saying that, alot of people on here seem to prefer Amaya (I think it's
www.amaya.com)

I don't actually like to peddle it, but M$ "Front Page Express" is not bad
for a small site and it is free.

I like Netscape Composer, its free too.

If you happen to be artistic you can do a fair bit with it. I find the
Verson from 4.x to be slightly easier to use, than the 7.x as its easier
to insert some extra HTML in the links ("_blank" "_top" etc)

If you have a computer magazine CD there, look on it for netscape
communicator.

To find out how it all works, just see what each button does.

Personally, I wouldn't reccomend anything to do with Netscape or Frontpage
if you paid me!.

How about Mozilla Composer. Part of the Mozilla suite. Write W3C
compliant web pages and is easy to use. www.mozilla.org and grab
Mozilla 1.6
