I have a slide that prints terribly because of all the custom animations I have going on.
What I'd like to do is make a second slide without the animations that will print well. I know I can mark this "print friendly" slide as hidden so it doesn't show durring the slide show presentation but I'd like to be able to mark the custom animation one ("print unfriendly one") as something like "Hidden from print"

Possible?

Yup, I think so.

Create two custom shows, one Print Friendly, one Screen Friendly.

When you go to print, you'll be able to choose Custom Show as one of the
options. Guess which one you wanna pick? ;-)

[CRITICAL UPDATE - Anyone using Office 2003 should install the critical
update as soon as possible. From PowerPoint, choose "Help -> Check for
Updates".]

Hello,

PowerPoint does not have the capability that you are looking for (to mark
slides for either printing or not printing).

If you (or anyone else reading this message) feel strongly that PowerPoint
should provide this printing feature or some kind feature for printing
slides/handouts/notes other than how they appear in normal/slide view (such
as for heavily animated slides), don't forget to send your feedback (in
YOUR OWN WORDS, please) to Microsoft at:

http://register.microsoft.com/mswish/suggestion.asp

As with all product suggestions, it's important that you not just state
your wish but also WHY it is important to you that your product suggestion
be implemented by Microsoft. Microsoft receives thousands of product
suggestions every day and we read each one but, in any given product
development cycle, there are only sufficient resources to address the ones
that are most important to our customers so take the extra time to state
your case as clearly and completely as possible. Each submission should be
a single suggestion (not a list of suggestions).
