Could you please tell me the best one to pick out of the
netmeeting software to download, I have windows xp, and I
am needing to get in contact urgently with someone with
windows 98 which one should I pick to download. We were
using Yahoo Messenger but it is not good at all, urgent
reply asked for please someone can you help us, thanks
very much

The compression technology available in MSN Messenger is damn fine. Better
than phone... and the video is good too (depending on your connection
speed - but it works great on DSL 640/256).

But what was so rotten about YIM? It's just one of dozens of chat
clients... chat is chat..... I mean what're are you looking for in it?
Audio/Video? Application sharing? File transfers?
 
I believe xp comes with netmeeting already installed and
you can of course use it to talk with anyone with 98 or SE
or ME or xp pro..You should just do a search on your
system and you will find it...Also you could use your
windows messenger 4.7 to communicate with msn messenger
All of these are options that that will work for you..I am
curious to know why Yahoo wasn't working for you ??
