Web Mail Reply Problem Using Vista Home Premium

I can create and send new emails but I can not reply to an email that was
sent to me. I have Vista Home Premium Edition and I have Earthlink as my
internet provider. I receive an error message and the message stays in my
outbox: Your server has unexpectedly terminated the connection. Possible
causes for this include server problems, network problems, or a long period
of inactivity. Subject 'Re: see if this message will go thru', Account:
.............. Mail Account', Server: 'smtpauth.earthlink.net', Protocol:
SMTP, Port: 587, Secure(SSL): No, Error Number: 0x800CCC0F

Any suggestions to fix this reply problem?? It is quite annoying to have to
enter all the information into a new email in order to respond to a sent
email. I've searched various forums now and have not found a solution.
 
I have a similar problem and no fix yet, and I will go to chat line this
week. My replay window takes over a minute to come up as does forward
sometimes. I think windows mail is lousy. I can't bulk mail with it like I
did with XP and outlook express. Good Luck.
