Web links are not highlighted

For some reason MS Word stopped converting any web addresses I type into a
clickable link. Now they just remain as regular text. I can't seem to find
how to fix this. Any ideas?
 
Do you have "Internet and network paths with hyperlinks" checked under
"Replace as you type" on the AutoFormat As You Type tab of Tools |
AutoCorrect?

Go to Tools > AutoCorrect > AutoFormat As You Type and make sure
there's a check mark on 'Internet and network paths with hyperlinks'.
