I ! I have windows Xp home with Sp2. I'm also using explorer 6.0.2900 SP2.
Since yesterday I have no problem surfing on the internet but as soon there
is a link and I'm tryin to open it......the page is blank and I'm unable to
opened it. This morning, I have downloaded netscape and I'm able to do what
ever I want...now I want to know What is causing my problem and if it is
possible to re-installe the whole explorer. I'have defrag my disk, restore
my system to an earlier date...and it is still the same.

I hope someone can help me
Thanks in advance

I have tried following all of the pages listed and am still having a problem.
I am using windows xp sp2. If I click a link, a blank page opens and there
is a message at the bottom that says done but with errors. If I click
refresh the page will then load. I have tried everything possible to fix
this. I have even reinstalled the latest script version but still an issue.
I am very frustrated with this. Please Help!

Hi,
A few things you might try. If the solution isn't on one of those pages, I
don't have any additional ideas sorry.

1. Try this command from Start> Run
iexplore.exe /rereg
[enter]
This reregisters all DLLs used by IE.
2. From IE> Tools> Manage add-ons, disable unknown or suspicious add-ons.
3. Clear the IE cache. IE> Tools> Internet Options> General> Delete
files (and delete offline content when that dialog pops up) It's often
recommended that the TIF folder be kept at about 50 MB (Settings.)
4. Check for malware. Download and run CWShredder, Ad-aware, Spybot.
See: http://mvps.org/winhelp2002/unwanted.htm
Also note the security tips and other important information on that page.
