Is it possible to identify the host of a particular web site? I thought I
changed hosts but I'm trying to do an independant verification to make sure
the change occured as it should have. I thought there was someplace you
could go, enter a domain name and find out the owner, host and other stuff
about it? Am I wrong?

A quick option is to make a small change on the new site, then when you see that you know that DNS
is point to the domain on your new web host.

Ping your website from a command window.
Write down the IP address that's returned.
Do a Who Is on the IP address and it will return the net block owner of the IP address.
