i am unable to clear cache memory after surfing as
advised by my bank . have done the usual 'clear history'
on internet options box. however history clears the
following day (set at 1 day) and sites can be deleted one
at a time. have tried deleting in save mode but problem
persist.
anyone can help?

I'm pretty sure you want delete files on that tab under temporary
internet history, not delete history. History only shows that you were
there (your travel itinerary versus the photos you took of your trip).

If this isn't the case, then I've been doing it wrong..
 
You bank advised you to clear your cache to prevent others from seeing items
stored in the internet temp directory. What you want to do is just click;
Tools
Internet Options
Delete Files
This will empty the temp internet files from your computer. After visiting
these type of sites where you exchange items like bank accounts, credit card
numbers and such it is also a good idea to close Internet explorer and
reopen it before going to other sites.
The History sites listed only show where you have been not account,
creditcard info.

Why are you doing this? Because you can't access the bank site? If so, for
