Hey all-
I've got a strange problem that has cropped up. About a
week ago and ever since while surfing the web, I've
noticed that when visiting some sites not all of the
images are appearing. I'm seeing red X's where the images
should be. It doesn't happen on every single site, but
it's happening on quite a few and even on sites I've been
to before. It appears to be happening more often.

Currently, under Internet Options/Check for new versions
of stored pages I have "Automatically" checked. I also
have about 210 megs set aside for cache. Yesterday, I
deleted all my temporary internet files and it had no
effect on my problem.

I am connected to the new via SBC DSL, and am using a
2Wire brand router.

Any ideas would be helpful. Anyone else experience this
problem?

Warren

Sorry again! I just found another post which I think is the same problem.
Rough morning.

YES! I am having the same problem since switching to SBC
DDSL and they said it was a Microsoft problem. Haven't
been able to find a fix. I've been asking around and if
something comes up, I'll let you know.

Take a look at these first:

If nothing works, try this:
Rename your HOSTS file to OLDHOSTS (all in caps) and then
reboot.
To find the HOSTS file go to:
If you have Win 2K/Xp: C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\etc
Or if you have Win 98/ME: C:\WINDOWS
If you don't see the HOSTS file then it's because it is
hidden, so set your computer to "Show Hidden Files and
Folders."

Hope this helps,
Debbie
