--- Posting Hints ---

ALWAYS REVIEW your message before submitting it. You want someone OTHER
than yourself to understand your post. Also remember that no one here is
looking over your shoulder to see at what you are pointing. If you don't
well explain your situation by providing the details that you already know,
don't expect others to know what is your situation. Explain YOUR computing
environment and just what actions you take to reproduce the problem.

Often you get just one chance per potential respondent to elicit a reply
from them. If they skip your post because you gave them nothing to go on
(no details, no versions, no OS, no context) then they will usually move on
to the next post and never return to yours.

Google Groups or a forum-to-Usenet proxy, those are gateways to Usenet.
Despite the appearance of a forum, you are participating in a newsgroup (aka

The name and version of your "newsreader" may be the first clue
to the rather short road to the answer you're looking for...

Won't download them or won't run them?

Have you uninstalled your current versions of Java (Java Runtime
Environment) and Adobe Shockwave and Adobe Flash through the Control
Panel --> Add or Remove Programs and then rebooted and downloaded and
installed the latest versions of said software and rebooted and tried again?

Computer wont download

Do you really mean "download"? To download is to copy a file (usually
from the internet) to your computer.

any games that require java or shockwave players even

It's almost impossible that if you tried to download a file, it would
know whether it requires java or shockwave players.

So what do you really mean when you say "download"? Install? Run?

after trying to update or install updates. Can anyone help me resolv this?

Not without more info. First tell us what you mean when you say
"download." Then tell us what "won't" means. Exactly what happens when
you try? If you get an error message, please quote it verbatim.
