My kid's school server has space for each kid to store
work in. They say users must have IE v.5 or above with
Web Folders installed to access the folders from home. We
have IE 6, and Windows 2000. Supposedly, Windows 2000
itself is web folder-enabled and that's why it doesn't
install with IE6. But we get an error message when we try
to use the school server access site, that says, "Internet
Explorer could not open http://the-school-site-address as
a Web Folder. Would you like to see its default view
instead?" (With the default view we can't get to the
upload capability.)
What can we do? My daughter has a Power-Point project
ready to upload--it won't fit on a floppy. Thanks!
