My site has a counter at the bottom. The bottom section is shared (Include
Component). Now it increments on each refresh. Is there anyway to avoid
the counter doing this.... other than taking it off of the shared area?

Thanks

No. No matter where you put the hit counter, hitting refresh or revisiting
the page brings up another *hit*.

The FP hit counter will always increments anytime the page it is on is refreshed, whether it is in a
share border or not.

Hi,

The hit counter will increase whenever IIS receives a HTTP request of this
site. There is no mechanism to determine which requests are from 'refresh'
and which requests are 'normal' at the server side.

Thanks.
