I would like to use this feature in FP2002:

Web Components >> Included Page >> Page

However, I am not using the "Publish" of FP to publish my website. I use FTP
instead as I am having many Perl and PHP scripts in the web. I do not want
them to be accidentally replaced. As such, I do not have FP Extensions
installed.

My question is:
1) Do I need to have FP Extensions installed in order to use the feature
above?

2) If the answer to 1) is "Yes", then
- If I have FP Extensions installed and use an FTP client to upload my files
(not using Publish in FP), what are the FP files that I must upload besides
the mother page and the included pages?

3) How do I prevent the scripts to be accidentally overwritten or deleted if
I use FP to publish my site? I add/edit/delete those scripts outside FP
using a text editor and CuteFTP.

Thanks.

No, the extensions are not need on the remote server. Under Tools | Page
Options | Compatablity tab and disable features that require the FP
extensions, etc.

Thanks Thomas. The answer is useful and straight to the point. You solved my
problems. I have been thinking for alternatives for so long.

If I remember your name correctly, this is not the first time you have
helped me out. Thanks again.
