web certificates "cryptext.dll,CryptExtOpenCER" error

Hi:

I get an error when I try to install web certificates in my IE:
An exception occurred while to run "cryptext.dll,CryptExtOpenCER"

I tried running the install/open command line for web certificates on
command line:
rundll32.exe cryptext.dll,CryptExtOpenCER <fileName>
I still get that error. Any idea what may be wrong.

I can think of cryptext.dll being infected by something. Will
replacing that file help..?

You can try this:

Start | Run | type: regsvr32 cryptext.dll | OK

If that doesn't work........

Start | Run | Type: sfc /scannow |OK
Have your XP CD ready to stick in your CD drive

scannow sfc (sfc.exe)
