A company that calls themselves IBIS in the small print is
sending a pop up stating my Internet Explorer update is
ready. That's bad news, right?
 
In a word, yes. Install and configure a firewall, anti-virus software and
malware applications like Ad-Aware, Spybot Search and Destroy and Pest
Patrol. Only update using Windows Update.
