Hello yoday,

Did you confirm that the drivers for the web cam are Vista compatible? Have
you tried contacting the manufacturer's support for assistance? Post back.

yoday,

If I read you correctly, It appears that you have no Vista compatible
drivers. Here is your comment, "compatablewindows2000+wind xp ect." I don't
see Vista in that statement. Is this correct? Your hardware likely won't
function properly without the Vista drivers. Maybe I simply don't
understand. Your best approach may be to contact the manufacturer of your
hardware for more specific advice.

Hello,

Did you try plugging it in different USB port and see if works? I have a USB
mouse that only functions on only one port of the computer, and not on any
other. And another thing... perhaps the webcam manufacturer is probably
still working on getting the webcam to work with Vista? Most hardware still
isn't compatible with Vista (although the manufacturer might say so, they
might still be working on the actual vista version of the hardware). So if
you can't get the latest updates to work, I guess the only thing you can do
is wait till you get the proper drivers from the manufacturer.
