web cam driver download for viata

I bought a Logitech webcam that is supposed to be vista compatible but the
software that came with it isn't. I try to download from Logitech site but
after download is complete and I try to install I keep getting ERROR 1719 any
suggesstions?

What has Logitech's technical support had to say about getting their
hardware and software working?
