I am running Windows XP with Explorer 6 and has been fine up until now. But
recently my ability to browse the internet has been severly reduced. We are
using dialup internet connection (which is active and healthy as far as I can
tell - no lost packets when from a ping test), everytime I enter a website we
get the "page not available" message back....though if refresh is pressed
10-15 times it is sometimes possible to get a halft loaded page (without
pictures etc.)
I am confused, since other traffic seems to be fine (internet downloads and
updates within other software are working fine). Does anyone have any
suggestions because I have run out of ideas after following XP help and
checking obvious settings. Is there a repair tool or similar available for
IE6???
