I have recently erases all my previously viewed web sites
in the history file. However, I still have 3 or 4 sites I
would like to erase that are still located on my web
browser scroll. How do I do this? can someone pleases
help me?

Deletes the History folder (and the index.dat file). When you reboot, a new
folder is created

In order to prevent the Autocomplete from working, close all open browser
windows or it will not take effect. Go to Tools | Internet Options | Click
the Content tab. Click the button that says Autocomplete. Uncheck Web
Addresses and all other items you don't want used with Autocomplete.
CAUTION: Be careful clearing passwords, be sure you have them backedup

Follow the instructions to the letter. You will be left with new Index.dat
file of 32 KB, and a newly created History folder. The same will apply if
you go the distance and do a Deltree on TIF and Cookie folders. It is
unnecessary to do that if they are in good working order.
